Thread: Sharing mounted folder trough NFS

hi,

have 150 gb ubuntu 10.04 partition , have shared video's folder in home directory access somewhere else trough nfs.
did:
code:
sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server
then
code:
sudo vim /etc/exports
added:
/home/user/videos *(ro)
restarted service , can access folder trough nfs on boxee, problem is... there 150 gb , need moar.
so... disk 1 tb time, ntfs(yeah yeah know) added
/media/backup/movies *(ro)
file.
folder isn't browsable other devices now. advertised on server tho. know i'm doing wrong , how fix it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
