Thread: Tshark by SSH on Ubuntu

hi,

i'm sniffing packets tshark on distant ubuntu laptop ssh connected on cisco switch.

if logon ssh , start tshark session, when start span session on port of laptop on cisco switch, lose connection because laptop's port becomes on monitoring status.

how can recover process when "no" monitoring port , connection when reconnect ssh ?

run process in screen session, screen -x reattach once reconnect.
