Thread: ubuntu 11.10-> Evolution 3.2 smtp not connecting

hello there,

installed 11.10 on machine. rather use evolution 3.2 thunderbird, installed evolution 3.2 , configured email account according service provider.

pop , smtp same "mail.provider.com" , pop have no problem whatsoever receive email.

smtp, "connection timeout" when try send email, not matter port choose, 25, 587, 465.

both servers, pop , smtp require authentification , pop can check supported authentification types, when try smtp, evolution locks.

later on:
installed thunderbird check if issue related evolution or isp. thunderbird works fine , copying configuration thunderbird evolution makes evolution work.

funny thing can not understand because in other pc evolution same version on 11.10 , works fine.
don't why here not work, , in other pc works.
