Thread: update-alternatives wrong default python version

hi,

attempting upgrade packages in ubuntu 10.04 error message i've read many posts about:

valueerror: /usr/bin/python not match python default version. must reset point python2.6
if run:

code:
update-alternatives --config python
it displays:

code:
there 1 alternative in link group python: /usr/bin/python2.6 nothing configure.
what can do? i've tried seem bad suggestions i've read many places, replace link manually. gets reset , same error again.

i should have added /usr/bin/python links /etc/alternatives/python links /usr/bin/python2.6.
