Why does Large text in a Form get cut off at the top when I save it as a PDF

hi. i've created form in acrobat 2 text fields. set size 40pt , 30pts using helvetica. when fill out form , save-as pdf text displays cut off @ top.

 

here's i've tried far:

making text fields larger font.

changing fonts. i've tried helvetica, verdana, arial

selecting multi-line

 

does know how can keep cutting off? solution i've been able find far reducing font size significantly, not option.

do file > save or else save it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
