AIR 3.6: Objects disappearing in GPU mode on Android
hi,
i begin receive more , more reports android users, telling me elements in published apps invisible them.
i created oracle cards apps, showing 44 cards in coverflow style (see screenshot here: http://www.indie-goes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/screenshot4.jpg. can try demo version here: http://www.indie-goes.com/apps/crystalwind/demo/)
the free version of app displays 10 cards in coverflow, , works fine. when people full version through in-app purchase, displays 44 cards, no card appears @ all: background.
a few facts:
- app compiled in gpu mode
- free , full versions share same code, difference number of cards displayed
- cards bitmaps inside sprites, on apply rotationy effect
- app doesn't crash: elements invisible
- tried remove elements outside screen display list (with removechild), there maximum of 4 children cards displayed @ same time, problem still occuring
- if change compile mode cpu, works fine (but slow, of course)
- issue occurs @ least sure on samsung galaxy 7" tablet android 4.1.1 jellybean
i painfully gathered information users, can't ask them test every beta build create. 2 causes can figure out right either: compatibility problem specific gpu, or problem newest versions of android system.
is else experiencing same issue?

now got confirmation happens latest air 3.7 beta, on motorola razr maxx on android 4.1
