No XMP ID written when ingesting through file directory view.

i found media ingested using file directory view not xmp id written them @ point of workflow if "write xmp id files on import" checked on prelude, media encoder , premiere pro. files gopro, canon dslr , sound devices pix recorders.

 

media ingested through specific view mode avchd , xdcam ex proper xmp id when ingested. i'm transcoding on ingest not write permission issue.

 

i'm using adobe cs6 (up date) on osx 10.8.3

 

does else have same issue ?

i confirm understand question. mean can not add marker or edit metata files gopro, canon dslr , sound devices pix recoders?

so far prelude not have xmp support gopro , sound devices pix recoders. canon dslr prelude have xmp support.   tried prelude cs6 1.0.3 on mac 10.8.3 , after importing canon dslr clip add markers or edit metadata of it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
