Please help! Elements 11 image quality poor compared to LR

hello, started using elements , irritated because image quality poor compared when viewing in lr.  not conversion - have tried pulling directly camear.  looks great in camera raw 7.1 second pull editor, lines jagged.  adobe telling me normal.  surely not??  halo around pixels?  image on left elements 11, right lightroom , zoomed in can see how sharp is.  please help.  im frustrated!

in pse 11 editor looking @ image @ 100% view (actual pixels)?

(other viewing percents can misleading in pse 11 editor)

 

double click on zoom tool in tol box 100% view.

 

also should on camera raw 7.4 available help>updates within pse 11 editor.

 

is lightroom 4.4?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
