Thread: Chromium -> Missing Plug-In

hi together,

i've got trouble chromium (15.0 on ubuntu 11.10).

works great using add on ie tab functionality (e.g. ie tab; ie tab classic; ie tab multi) ends error message:

'missing plugin'

using such addon allow me use our company's microsoft outlook web application (owa) in full modus, not in lite. because addons allows run activex controls.

flash, java, etc works fine using normal chromium tabs - starting new tab ie tab functionality ends error message. disabling/enabling plugins listed in about://plugins did not help.

how can check kind of plugin missing in chromium - starting chromium in shell chromium-webbrowser didn't not work :-/

has run in error message , find solution?

imo, ie tab add-on requires access functional internet explorer engine (trident), not present in ubuntu 11.10 or linux system per se. don't know whether you'll have better luck after installing wine.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
