Thread: Chromium OS by Hexxeh wont boot.

i have posted on chromeoslounge.com no answers, i've decided take ubuntuforums, because guys smart operating systems

have tried both vanilla , lime versions , both bit differently.

lime version not boot. make live usb , when boot it, shows black screen 1 second reboots. if have usb stick main boot device, stuck in boot loop.

vanilla version boots , shows white screen "chromium os" text, text animation finishes computer reboots. if have usb stick main boot device, gets stuck in boot loop.

have created usb device both chromium os image creator mac , windows image creator windows.

trying boot/install chromium os on following hardware.


microprocessor: 1.60 ghz amd athlon neo processor ultrathin notebooks mv-40 512kb l2 cache

memory: 2048mb ddr2

video graphics: ati radeon x1200 series

vanilla works fine me...check integrity of image if can.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
