Thread: Editing .iso Information

i have been scouring google along these , other forums alike , have been unable come answer. using kubuntu 11.10 , ripping dvd's .iso files easier access. when play them in vlc title of movie displays @ bottom of screen either not want or if forget name iso reads "unknown". there way edit the...i guess metadata on iso file without re-ripping it? have seen posts iso master seems editing of contents. tried right clicking file see properties not give me info want.

pointing me in right direction great. thanks.

editing .iso information? need member of forums understands how edit captured image in compressed format. can define mean 'editing?'

wait, said when open file in vlc player it's burnt image dvd rom watch in vlc. didn't know put media video format .iso, .iso compressed image format, meaning once burn disk it's not compressed .iso more. .iso want? wouldn't video format more appropriate? well, if want .iso, guess try looking @ this:

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
