Thread: Evolution: old emails not visible after changing IMAP settings

hi-

i'm running maverick, , have 2 accounts use evolution: personal email account (which default inbox, etc) , work email account (which has separate inbox under my.name@mywork.com). issue concerns work email.

changing ms exchange, , had update imap settings. logged in server "imap.mywork.com", using email address login.

now, under exchange, log in different server, "exchangeimap.mywork.com", user id (as opposed email address).

migration made last night, morning, put in new settings, clicked download, , ended 3 new emails in my.name@mywork.com inbox. problem old emails invisible.

checked ./evolution/imap/, , there 2 folders:
my.name@mywork.com@imap.mywork.com
userid@exchangeimap.mywork.com

old emails still in "my.name" folder; can open them text editor.

presumably issue evolution doesn't know these 2 folders same, i'm not sure how merge them. simple copying contents "my.name" folder "userid" folder?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
