Thread: Gdebi frontend sucks!

hey i'm using lubuntu 11.04.
when wanna install external deb package, there comes lot of times gdebi says me "dependency not satisfied" in fact there's no problem. if install deb package via dpkg, installs ok.
why doesn't gdebi frontend of dpkg? why must add unnecessary, stupid checks prevent me installing packages , make me think installing external deb files on linux hard!
please fix it...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
