Thread: How do i uninstall ubuntu

hi guys, long story short im trying uninstall ubuntu 11.10 , replace windows xp.

ive tried running windows installer booting off cd , pre install driver checks or watever, , restarts laptop.

anyway, main question how uninstall ubuntu 11.10 , ill figure out windows xp problem after.

you can fire ubuntu live cd , use gparted eliminate ext4 (or whatever used) , swap partitions. once have done have whole drive of unallocated space. windows should able install that.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
