Thread: Need help with wireless connection using Wubi

i installed using wubi no linux expert @ all. have ubuntu 11.10 running on acer aspire 1 netbook , can not wireless work or wired appreciated. have tried rebooting while ethernet cable plugged in etc no avail. desperate step step beginners tutorial on way fix wireless can use netbook on ubuntu. in advance help/replies , apologies if in wrong place.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
