Thread: Unable to find where proxy is set on my system.


hi all,

when env |grep proxy, shows http_proxy variable set on system. searched in .bashrc , in system>network proxy unable find proxy setting there. check in apt.conf file not set there also.
want remove proxy setting. please me know, how unset proxy setting.

try running command terminal window see if might identify location of http_proxy being set (assuming set system-wide):
code:
sudo bash -c "fgrep -ri http_proxy /etc/*"
