Thread: What's the difference between these two?


in "additional drivers" dialogue box, see following 2 options:

"nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version current) [recommended]"

and

"nvidia accelerated graphics driver (post-release updates) (version current-updates)

when click between 2 read descriptions, same thing. 1 says, "recommended" kind of looks it's not other one, because other 1 says has "current-updates". you'd think that "recommended" one. has "current updates".

it's confusing.

so, difference there, between two. reason should need choose 1 on other, , not 'cause 1 says it's "recommended"?

i'm pretty sure 1 "current updates" has better support older graphics cards. sorry, ain't got sources remember seeing somewhere.
