Thread: Where can I find the config file for system shortcuts? (11.10)

if kind enough me:

can find config file system shortcuts?

- make ctrl+q system-wide shortcut quitting app/closing window. had disabled function, when made custom (alt+f4) shortcut shutdown ( '/usr/lib/indicator-session/gtk-logout-helper --shutdown' ).

- if try using gui keyboard settings menu, menu closes press shortcut, instead of recording change. clear, ctrl-q closes windows, it's not system-wide shortcut. example, pyneighborhood doesn't close it.

- after searching found xml file ( '~/.gconf/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/%gconf.xml' ) metacity global shortcuts, doesn't have shortcuts. more doesn't have system or custom shortcuts. know can find file?

reading way down, whether or not can help.

sorry can't help, have similar problem. i'm trying use ctrl+alt+g open gedit, error
'error while trying run (ctrl+alt+g)
linked key (<control><alt+g>)
