Volume discounts

i have asked before enabling volum discounts across range of items in 1 catalog? @ present can volume discount orders of 1 product.

 

what confuses me shipping drop down option based upon total number of products in checkout, why can’t have discount drop down option same thing? shipping tool can differentiate between 11 bottles & 12 bottles & determine charge or not charge, discounts should work same way!

 

this issue major problem our website , doesn't seem particularly complicated, expect companies want offer this. , no don't want use discount coupons @ checkout.

i've done shipping pricing based on volume bc systems, totally possible drop me pm.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
