Yet Another DVD Menu Template Question

a few years ago used menu template had modified original design.  original template video put using pe2.  template editted using ps4 (sold bundle w/pe2 @ time).  want used edited/modified version video put using pe10.

 

i have tried using original template came pe2 (in original form) successfully  --by copying 2 files pe2 'dvd template directory' pe10 'dvd template directory'.

while have not yet burned video, when previewed works well.

 

however, when tried copying , using 2 modified files pe2 'dvd template directory' pe10 'dvd template directory' black screen (in pe10, works fine in pe2).

 

any idea pe10 not editted template; , suggestions might try fix it?

    --i still have ps4 on original pc.

i have gone use of premiere elements 2 dvd templates in premiere elements 9.0/9.0.1 in depth far 2011.

 

however, not sure how far wish this, ask:

 

1. specific premiere elements 2 dvd template original? names of main menu , scene menu .psd files original menu existed when able bring original dvd template premiere elements 10 , use in premiere elements 10 dvd-video on dvd project? did place dvd template .psd files in following premiere elements 10 computer path:

local disk c folder

program files (x86) folder

adobe folder

adobe premiere elements 10 folder

dvd templates folder

common folder

what folders/files sequence follows here point 2 .psd files in appropriately names folder?

 

2. modified version of original, same question above? please specify original premiere elements 2 dvd template each modification refers to.

 

3. in way did modify original?

 

4. special modified template cannot customized 1 of premiere elements 10 dvd templates came program , use in dvd-video on dvd project?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
