Error message when I try to open the "help" files.

when try open files in elements photoshop 10, following error message in pop box.  @ top, box labeled "adobe air"  message:  "application descriptor not found application.  try re-installing or contacting publisher assistance."

 

i have uninstalled , reinstalled both elements programs adobe air, , have updated can think of , few more things, , still same message.  since 1 uses files, i'd appreciate this.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
