My InDesign is Middle Eastern... and shouldn't be

hello, all. purchased design & web premium cs6 (note well: suite, not creative cloud) on dec 31 , used of other apps, have been working in indesign in last few weeks. late noticing weird: have middle eastern version installed. i'm licensed english, somehow that's i've got. don't know if affects other apps, indesign, messes lot of stuff (documents set right side binding default, text flow wrong direction etc).

 

i should add downloaded via ftp link adobe, rather download manager, never able work me (it end of download , fail—tried oodles of times).

 

i have been given understand though it's same download, shouldn't issue.

 

is there way force indesign serve me usa english version?

 

i've tried adobe chat support this, didn't receive (he wanted me call indesign product support, 90 days past).

btw, running win 8 pro.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
