PDF text editable with Acrobat, Get it to InDesign?

i suffered loss of external hard drive.  messed big time.  have pdf of portfolio.  need updates , noticed few typos there way to edit , add text? when edit in acrobat font darker, because opacity altered on original text. result new text standing out.  not great highlight addition of commas...

 

is there hope? or doomed?

place in indesign. if it's editable, great, if not, cover errors , make new elements patch in.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
