Thread: Installed Lucid alongside Meego, resized partitions and now 3 Ubuntu FS show in grub

installed lucid alongside meego, resized partitions , 3 ubuntu fs show in grub, each having separate (safe mode) load link(?), yet of them load same physical fs.

ideas how fix this? also, there memory test 86x - what's that?

yo have few different kernels installed , each of them have safe mode ( think recovery mode understand each other).if want remove of them first sure latest ( higher number ) working correctly.if go synaptic package manager , type in search box linux-image.you see installed kernels.remove of them except 1 higher number.after same linux-headers.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
