Thread: Mouse offset issue

hi,

newbie in ubuntu , need help. i'm using 10.04 lucid, , quite recently, mouse keeps giving me offset issue.

@ first wine has offset issue laptop's touchpad, subsequently switched microsoft wireless mouse.

had no issues awhile until lately realize there's no longer issue wine wrt touchpad when playing games, instead offsetting went daily usage of mouse, in wine , in desktop.

@ first thought hardware problem went buy razer deathadder, can tell, issue still persist. hohoho.. when scroll mouse slowly, gives wobbly , down movement quickly, if hand trembling vigorously. , gets stuck @ particular area of screen awhile.. goes downwards instead of upwards.

not using compiz , effect btw.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
