i'm trying folder host guest. can create folder in virt-manager , if update guest :
apt-get install linux-image-extra-virtual
i'm able mount :
mount -t 9p -otrans=virtio,version=9p2000.l /sharename /local/folder/
described in post :

i'm unable become writeable.

apparmor messages in syslog there also, solution posted in post not work me...

question 1 : way ? or can done simpler (without doing different using nfs shares)

question 2 : might work ubuntu guest how windows guest ?

i've done extensive searching online little info , few guides show best way. not locate best practices kvm or similar.

you can use vbox "shared folders".

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
