Thread: Remove a font and replace it with a better one.

i have font remove replace better model. font in question "italian cursive, 16c" not should. @ site 'fontspace' found same font looking should. tried install it, thinking option keep current font of name or replace newer one. it's zip file reads as: "lord-kyl-mackay_italian-cursive-16th-c.zip" when opened , extracted it, shows this: "italian cursive, 14th c.ttf. when tried install 'installation failed'.


went /usr/share/fonts see if remove there not able track down? checked out /usr/local/share/fonts turned out empty.

if can give me hand this, on way.

have in hidden folder .fonts in home folder.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
