Thread: Remove PPA's?

hey guys, wondering how remove listings on left side? think ppa's i've added uninstalled software don't need them anymore. how can remove them?

did try;

open "ubuntu software center"
- edit menu
--- select "software sources...", enter password
----- select tab "other software"

removed 2 useless ppa's (each had 2 entries), closed software centre, , re-opened still there

after add or remove repository, need refresh sources.list, can in terminal running
code:
sudo apt-get update
i'm sure can in software center, i'm not sure how.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
