Thread: Updating BIOS for Toshiba P100

hello, having sound problems , think need start updating bios. apparently p100 has loads of issues apci fixes need recent bios. ideas on how update given toshiba supplies windows based option , there no option boot usb on computer?

look @ hiren cd.

edit: should ask toshiba, maybe realize dos extensions not whole world.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
