Thread: Using Evolution in 11.10 errors in terminal

on desktop son uses i've upgraded 11.10 , decided remove thunderbird in synaptic open evolution. perhaps in future i'll switch thunderbird don't want change yet.

when opened evolution shown box, did want migrate? thinking evolution clicked yes i'm wondering if part of migration thunderbird or have file names changed evolution uses?

anyway evolution seems working if launch in terminal see these messages , wonder need put right. have stop migration process, move or rename files. on pc deleted mbox local host account based on advice i'd seen in forum , i've removed local host account on pc too.

migrating cached data
migrating config data
migrating local user data
mv /home/handssolowson/.evolution/mail/local/folders.db /home/handssolowson/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/folders.db
failed: destination file exists
rmdir /home/handssolowson/.evolution/mail/local
failed: directory not empty (contents follows)
folders.db
rmdir /home/handssolowson/.evolution/mail
failed: directory not empty (contents follows)
local

edit:i've manually removing mail/local/folders.db seems have remove error messages. seems have done trick, fingers crossed.
