Thread: Wine tells me it cannot find this computer's CD ROM drive

after installing morrowind , copying disc's file folder on hard drive , changing permissions executable open main morrowind screen asking play, data files, options, elderscrolls.com, technical support, uninstall, quite. clicking play here gets me attached error message. "unable find cd-rom drive on computer". of course right after installed game, cd drive, , i've burned cd's it.

i'm using ubuntu 10.10 , wine 1.2.2

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
