Green Screen on You Tube Video problem

i have blank green screen appearing on tube videos. using curent version of flash. running windows 8 32 bit. cannot select hardware acceleration because "display" not appear option on "settings." have 4 options rather 5 in "settings". flash add-on enabled. how can rid of green screen , see normal video playback? thanks!

could post copy of system's dxdiag report?

you might want try disabling hardware acceleration internet explorer.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
