Installing Illustrator CS6 crashes computer in Application Mgr

yesterday when installing illustrator system  crashed, later today morning when started computer again crashed , solution still not able install first illustrator creative cloud.

 

and when downloading in process in adobe application manager , reached 6% , again went 0%, next time reached 14% , again went start again, please let me know how solve error.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
