Problems with printing from Photoshop CS4 to Epson SP9900

i have upgraded mac pro 3.1 mountain lion (10.8.3). have adobe cs4 design standard , used print epson sp9900 (using ip connection) photoshop cs4 without problems using native epson drivers. downloaded recent drivers epson sp 9900 on mac osx 10.8 prints come out shattered, garbled or offset multiple times. photoshop, illustrator cs4 prints fine. other applications, including browsers , microsoft office.

i removed drivers , printer queues, reinstalled design standard cs4 , newly downloaded drivers epson , first print came our ok. second printed same before - garbled , offset.

should try cs5 (i have installer disc , license), or have same problem? facing prospect of going snow leopard (if possible without reformatting drive), or there configuration options not apparent during standard installation?

im having same problem. shattered images. tryed reinstalling, spent couple of hours on phone epson guy... still can´t print fine.

printer: epson sp 9900, mac pro osx 10.8 (ml).

did solved it? please someone! living.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
