PSE 8 Help in Menu not usable

in pse 8 (boutht in 2010)  cannot use 'help' / 'hilfe'.  not understand why.  pse 8 crashes, when 'help' ist clicked on.  why?

 

apart that, pse 8 seems work alright.  can me cure this?

i use psev.8, , when click on "help" in editor, brings files psev.11. looks have archived psev.8 files.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
