hi all,
have same error, no init found. try passing init=bootarg
i'm new linux, using linux 10.10 , kernel-2.6.35. i'm able compile kernel-3.1.1. when i'm trying boot system kernel-3.1.1 got error.
please me find out possible causes , remedy.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
