Thread: How to get my touchscreen's special controls working.

hello,

i've got medion md20165 20" touch screen.
i've installed ubuntu server 11.10 on pc,
i've installed xdm , lxde.
it's nice , light,
i'm using old pc piii , 256 mb ram.
combi of lightweight ubuntu , light lxde, it's works nice , fast!
if use standard ubuntu it's slower sirup.
(takes 5 min boot, 2 min unity (of gnome) respond (i suspect because fill mem causing heave swap usage)).
setup works nice , fast. (boot times under 2 min, response direct, 2-3 ms time that's okay)
anyway...
touchscreen worked directly (i plugged in usb , touched screen , mouse went directly finger!)
when connected windows (different pc...) can scroll swiping finger or down.
if held finger (or stylus) on screen 5 secs did right click.
these 2 things i'm missing...
else working fine.
didn't have calibration (never did, factory did me, saves me headache!)
had automatic adjustment (the screen offset right , top).

how can fix this?

never mind,
fixed it....
used ginn , xbindkeys.
bound comby of unpressable keys xdotool , made ginn press it.
