Thread: lucid with xbmc 10 high cpu usage

my system: ubuntu 10.04 xbmc 10

system monitor shows cpu usage low (10%) before start xbmc. once started xbmc, system info in xbmc shows cpu0 , cpu1 both 70%. notthis cause video playing slow. reinstalled couple times still same. mine single core, don't why it's showing 2 cpu.

can 1 please? thank you!

solved own problem disabling desktop effect.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
