Thread: MythTV issues

hi, stuck installing mythtv.
had half installed version 022 @ 1 point gave on that.
(stupidly?) tried install trunk verson!
anyway have uninstalled these , installed standard version using synaptic - 2:0.24.0
can't start backend! following:

think first line problem?
rc libmyth-0.23-0 0.23.1+fixes26437-0ubuntu1 common library code mythtv , add-on modules (runtime)

version 0.23 , have version 0.24. "rc" refer to? , how remove version 0.23 please?

is wrong forum mythtv questions?
