Thread: No verbose nor splash screen bootup.

hi, have old monitor supposed "energysaver" or that. turns off during boot of lubuntu, turns on once desktop loaded. i'd fix has verbose bootup , splash screen can know if goes wrong, among other reasons.

suggestions?

edit /etc/default/grub file.

remove comment on:

#grub_terminal=console

hope helps

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
