Thread: People Who dislike Unity and Multimonitor Support in ubuntu.

ok. have heard alot of people gripe , bash unity. unity pretty designed. problems have not unity issues. gnome3 going through rough time right kde4 did. belive mostepart pleased when gnome3 matures. unity fix alot of issues gnome-shell lacking me.

hope 12.04 able improve multimoniter support. don't see how xirnrama , compiz issues in xorg.

on laptop or systems 1 monitor. love unity. runs great. clean looking.

guess want see in future better xorg, better gnome3.

guess saying of things have heard people gripe not unity , ubuntu. same isues frustrate me in debian. custamizability, multimonitor support,

they testing public prototype of unity launcher can called on monitor moving side of screen, , switching mouse 1 screen requires bit more of push. specific timeouts tweakable, , they're looking input "best" values set timeouts to. check out ubuntu's facebook page see.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
