hi everyone

new linux , discovered need sms notifications via nagios etc... while ubuntu , nagios setup walk in park ive hit brick wall communication gsm router ubuntu test box. (i have tested device on windows machines , works well) have downloaded application called phone manager , set com1 device connected refuses connect.

gsm router maestro evo 100 , connects via serial cable test box.

perhaps missing generic driver install gsm routers on ubuntu box? appreciated!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
