i think ubuntu needs proper multilevel marketing strategy make more profitable , hence more productive , popular in long run, i'm not saying should leave basic foss philosophy survive,grow , remain competitive , needs money , publicity..

volunteer ubuntu managers can appointed regions can sell original ubuntu cds , dvds , other stuff @ price mentioned in website , can carry on advertisement campaign or seminar etc.. convince people use ubuntu , clear doubts , fears..

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
