Download problems Acrobat XI Pro

my acrobat reader stopped allowing me open pdf files internet websites.  decided upgrade tp acrobat xi pro.  purchased can't download, nor can download free reader versions either.  can me?

james in way unable download software?  receiving particular error message?  please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=kbhjq information on how download purchased adobe software.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
