Is there anything that you can do to fix a pdf that was created with the wrong orientation?

someone sent me 40-page pdf created document landscape orientation output portrait orientation. pages clipped off on right , left. there no way can see can change orientation in acrobat pro , if converted word document can see of text, there still missing, there tables. don't have access original document. curious if there way around this?

you can rotate pages, if clipped contents permanently gone.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
