Thread: Backing up DVDs for Boxee playback

just ordered boxee box make tv viewing experience bit better. i've got task of saving dvds 2tb drive.

i've 40" tft i'm going watch films on.

best way backup them? thinking dvd decrypter iso file. dvd shrink extract main film , convert iso or format , have not loss of quality.

i'm happy dvd quality i've no blue rays or anything?

best way or use handbrake? compression , encoding take ages if go handbrake route.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
