Thread: Closing two windows instead of one

-

1. in unity (11.10), click home folder launcher.
2. middle-click it, creating second instance of same window.
3. close 1 of them.

4. 1 closes, other 1 minimises without me telling to.

expected behaviour? why second window minimise, forcing me hunt , un-minimise it?

bug? or there logical reason behaviour?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
