Thread: Duel boot problem

i new linux. have installed xubuntu on computer windows installation.
when boot computer windows starts automatically, don't boot menu, i'm unable start xubuntu.

suspect because have windows 8 developer preview installed on computer , xubuntu not recognize os.
during installation xumbuntu unable import settings windows. coudn't find settings import. , didn't question regarding grub boot loader.

suggestions on how can resolve this?

1..hold shift key while system booting , if got grub menu boot xubuntu , install grub customizer , set grub time 10 sec .

2.if won't grub menu shift key @ signature grub recovery , use grub.

if things not fine

3.look @ signature botinfoscript , give output in code tags clicking @ # in window.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
