Thread: HD checked every time in boot (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS)
my hd detected , checked every time switch on laptop, , normal?

i had trouble on old system, started when began bad sectors. rid of it, boot live cd of same distro (u 11.04) , point , click way, open gparted , right-click on partition want have file system check run in , click 'check' right-click menu, click 'apply' in couple of different places , wait few minutes process complete.
worked me.
