Thread: How to stop firestarter from automatically loading on boot?

can tell me how stop firestarter starting when system boots? i'm testing ufw still being developed , supported. prefer not have uninstall firestarter. leave installed now, not have start unless decide manually start it.

chkconfig (sudo chkconfig --list firestarter) shows:

code:
firestarter 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off
thanks in advance suggestions or comments.

your output chkconfig shows turned off. can use update-rc.d adjust that. or can use /etc/init.d/firestarter start or stop manually.
